It kind of stinks because they break the US into sections and you need to buy each section separately (You can also buy them all at once if you'd like but it's more expensive, and I don't really see myself visiting some of the other areas any time soon). I sort of live in the middle of two of them so I had to purchase two sections to be able to enjoy all the stupid things I love to drive out of my way to see. Other than that, it's a really awesome app and I found all sorts of silly things I didn't know existed. Most recently - the Ashtabula Train Wreck Obelisk. It's amazing how you can live close to something for so long and never even know it exists. Visiting the train wreck mass grave brought us to the most beautiful cemetery and we seriously could not have visited on a more beautiful day. The air was crisp and cool but you didn't need a winter coat. The fall scenery at the cemetery was just a few days past peak but there were still lots of beautiful colors and leaves everywhere. The cemetery was hiding at the end of a residential street and was set on a hill. But more on the cemetery another day - I took a two rolls of film there so I'm sure I'll be gushing about it soon... Hope you have a great start to your week. xoxo ps. did any Smashing Pumpkins fans out there get the title reference? That's one of my favorite songs. via The Dainty Squid http://daintysquid.blogspot.com/2012/11/what-i-wore-aeroplane-flies-high.html taghandcraftnews | |||
