Mariah ordered some fabric from Spoonflower using a couple of her photographs and the result is stunning.  (Speaking of Spoonflower –there's an article in the January 2013 House and Home magazine on future trends where I was quoted mentioning them and how these days we're embracing technology to show our individuality and how you can customize so much now for the home. It's authored by Wendy Jacob -starting on page 40- and is an interesting read if you wish to check it out). But back to these DIYs.  I'm loving Mariah's customizing and now my head is spinning with the possibilities. Everything Golden for Sugar and Charm Kelli Murray shows us how to make your own ornaments and gift tags using oven bake clay on A Beautiful Mess. And Lisa Tilse makes these really cool neon coil bowls using long strips of fabric + neon orange 'bricklayers line' (string) from the hardware store.  (I have to try this)! Click here for the how-to!
